CND Programs, Projects and Networks
CND carries out or participates in a number of programs and initiatives:

- Pears, Leonard
and Sudbury Projects
The Pears, Leonard and Sudbury projects are unique housing projects addressing homelessness in our city. A product of a partnership between 14 local service agencies these projects provide housing solutions which give tenants a home and a community at the same time. Partner agencies also support the skill development of tenants to achieve their personal goals.
- Growing Up Healthy Downtown (GUHD)
GUHD is a partnership of eight dynamic, community-based multi-service agencies offering a variety of programs to support families with young children (0 to 6 years old) living in downtown Toronto.
- Illahee Community Connections
An initiative for immigrant and newcomer seniors living in Toronto.
Illahee Community Connections supports the creation of new opportunities for seniors to develop partnerships, community capacity and services for their community. They are also supported to develop cross-cultural programming designed to reduce isolation, form social networks, deliver health promotion education and strengthen peer volunteer capacity among seniors.
