Unity in Diversity - Seniors' Day
On April 22, 2009 at the Scarborough Civic Centre, CND is organizing a senior's day for ethno-cultural groups under the theme "Unity in Diversity". The day is primarily for seniors to get together, have fun, celebrate and learn more about each other's culture.
This event is part of FST's Illahee Community Connections Program that works with culturally diverse seniors living in underserved neighborhoods in Toronto. The program uses an innovative approach to help ethno-cultural senior groups build their capacity to support themselves in their community.
